Terms and Conditions and Online Participation Rules

These terms apply to bookings and participation in language courses, private lessons, group courses, digital learning offers and related services provided by CroLangSchule.
1. Provider and scope
The contracting party is CroLangSchule, proprietor Marija Ilicic Mikulic, Biberacher Straße 6, 88471 Laupheim, Germany. These terms apply unless an individual agreement provides otherwise.
2. Course description
The course page and the information shown immediately before booking determine the binding scope, level, dates, teacher, number and duration of lessons, maximum group size and total price.
3. Booking and contract
Submitting the booking using the clearly labelled payment button is a binding offer. A contract is formed only when CroLangSchule accepts or confirms the booking or activates the course access.
4. Acceptance of terms
Before booking, the participant must confirm acceptance of these terms, including confidentiality, privacy and participation rules. Booking is not technically possible without the required confirmations.
5. Prices and payment
The total price displayed before booking applies. CroLangSchule applies the German small-business scheme under section 19 UStG and therefore does not show VAT. Payment is made using the offered payment method.
6. Dates and group size
Course start, lesson dates, times, number of units and minimum or maximum group size are stated in the course plan. Necessary changes will be communicated as early as reasonably possible.
7. Participant duties
Participants must provide accurate details, protect login and meeting data, meet the technical requirements and must not share links, access codes or learning materials with unauthorised persons.
8. Group lessons
During online group lessons, display names, voices, voluntarily activated video, chat messages, reactions and screen shares may be visible or audible to the teacher and other participants.
9. Confidentiality
Personal information, statements, learning progress, mistakes, messages and contributions of other participants must remain confidential and may not be copied, published or disclosed outside the course. This duty continues after the course ends.
10. No recording or screenshots
Without prior express consent from CroLangSchule and every affected person, participants may not make audio, video, screen or image recordings, screenshots, photographs, transcripts or other copies of online lessons. Publication or sharing through social media, messengers, cloud storage or other platforms is prohibited.
11. Recordings by CroLangSchule
CroLangSchule does not record secretly. Any recording or transcription will be announced clearly in advance and will rely on an appropriate legal basis. Separate consent will be obtained where required.
12. Zoom
Zoom or another conferencing provider may be used. Participants should use an appropriate display name and avoid sharing confidential information through chat, profile pictures or screen sharing. The privacy policy provides further details.
13. Conduct
Respectful and non-discriminatory conduct is required. Harassment, threats, unlawful content, advertising, sharing access credentials and serious disruption are prohibited.
14. Learning materials
Course files and learning materials are protected and licensed only for the personal learning use of the booked participant. Redistribution, publication, resale and commercial reuse are prohibited unless expressly permitted by law or in writing.
15. Missed lessons and outages
Missed group lessons generally do not create a right to an individual replacement lesson unless stated otherwise. If CroLangSchule is responsible for a cancelled lesson, a replacement or proportionate refund will normally be offered.
16. Withdrawal
Consumers generally have the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Details are provided in the separate cancellation policy. An early start before the end of the withdrawal period requires an express request where applicable.
17. Liability and privacy
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. Personal data are processed under the privacy policy, and participants must respect the privacy and personality rights of all other participants.
18. Final provisions
German law applies subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply. Invalid individual clauses do not affect the remaining terms.
Shop, Waren und digitale Inhalte
Für Bestellungen im Shop gelten zusätzlich die bei dem jeweiligen Produkt ausgewiesenen Eigenschaften, Preise, Versandkosten und Lieferzeiten. Der Vertrag kommt durch die zahlungspflichtige Bestellung und deren Annahme durch CroLangSchule zustande. Physische Waren werden an die angegebene Lieferanschrift versandt. Digitale Inhalte werden nach bestätigtem Zahlungseingang im geschützten Kundenbereich bereitgestellt. Bei preisgebundenen Büchern werden gesetzlich gebundene Endpreise eingehalten; Gutscheine und Rabatte finden darauf keine Anwendung. Käufer dürfen digitale Inhalte ausschließlich für den persönlichen Gebrauch verwenden und nicht weitergeben, vervielfältigen, öffentlich zugänglich machen oder weiterverkaufen.
